Tom's Biography

Thomas L. Bryant has been providing investment advice to his clients since 1984. Today Tom is the Managing Director and Chief Investment Strategist of The Investment Consultant Group, our advisor are affiliated with LPL Financial.  Tom assists corporations, foundations, endowments and individuals in establishing investment strategies that are consistent with their stated objectives and long term goals. Tom then reviews each account for performance and investment consistency. Tom has built a solid business through hard work and stives to earn a reputation of integrity.

When Tom explains his work philosophy in dealing with his clients, he speaks with sincerity and conviction “In order for me to provide the most appropriate investment strategy for each client, I need to understand their specific needs and concerns. An understanding and trust must exist between myself and my clients, in order for them to benefit from my knowledge and experience. My clients’ trust depends on my ability and my integrity, which I will not compromise! My clients always come first!”

Tom and his team work with high net-worth individuals, business owners, investment committees, and professionals. He is a consultant to personal and corporate retirement plans, foundations and endowments. Tom graduated from the University of Oregon in 1983 with a bachelor’s degree in Economics. In 1984 Tom joined EF Hutton as a Financial Consultant where he excelled. After fourteen years and multiple acquisitions EF Hutton became Salomon Smith Barney. And in 1998 Tom Bryant along with associates Dwayne Alpers and Brian Stevens started a new professional investment practice called Alpers Bryant & Stevens, which in 2004 evolved into The Investment Consulting Group. Continuing his education in 2006 Tom received an MBA in Business Management. In 2012 Tom earned the designation of CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ 

 


Tom is an active member in his local Rotary Club, and he and his family are active members in their church, and are vigorous supporters of those charities that serve their local community.
